The Search and Selection process for the Social Entrepreneur of the Year was established to recognize outstanding
social entrepreneurs around the globe, an initiative of The Schwab Foundation for Social Entrepreneurship.
The Regional Search in Latin America is open to all organizations in the region, except those whose headquarters
are based in countries where a national competition is already open or planned (Brazil, Chile, Venezuela). Deadline
for applications is 31 January 2011
